Motorola Solutions APX Series two-way radios operate on the Motorola ASTRO 25 system infrastructure to meet demanding APCO Project 25 (P25) digital voice and data communication standards. The APX 8000 offers unlimited mobility and uncompromising performance with a 4-in-1 radio that offers the clearest, loudest audio, seamless Wi-Fi connectivity, and limitless interoperability in a single device. With multi-mode system access across 700/800 MHz, VHF, and UHF Range 1 & 2 bands, the APX 8000 uses analog MDC 1200 or digital P25 mode, conventional or trunked operation, as well as SmartNet or SmartZone legacy systems. Wireless WiFi functionality allows for quicker firmware, software, and codeplug updates. Adaptive audio engine provides better voice clarity in any environment. Multiple hardware encryption algorithms and radio authentication protocols keep sensitive information protected from scanners and eavesdroppers. Uses Motorola IMPRES 3400 mAh to 5100 mAh batteries. Available from 1200-3000 channels with multiple display/keypad options.
