The NOC provides diagnostics, real-time visibility and proactive response to potential issues before they escalate. Our skilled technology experts observe and identify critical two-way radio network issues/alerts, and initiate the appropriate response.
Financing Options
Financing plans allow organizations to get the equipment they need now while extending payment timeframes, often without affecting bank or credit lines. BearCom partners with Lease Corporation of America and other lenders to offer attractive financing options.
Extended Warranties
A BearCom Extended Warranty helps protect your radio communications investment while saving money long-term. With a BearCom warranty, you essentially lock in the majority of your repair expenses, making it easier to estimate and control your equipment budget.
Engineering Design and Evaluation
The BearCom Technical Services Group is staffed by more than 350 highly-experienced, factory-trained wireless professionals, including electrical engineers, solution architects and field service technicians. Using interactive site walks, document and technical reviews, meetings, and other information-gathering techniques, BearCom can evaluate your system and recommend the most effective plan for improving performance.
Coverage Surveys
Dead spots in two-way radio and cellular signals increase risk for staff and first responders when they cannot communicate in areas such as parking garages, underground tunnels, equipment rooms and other isolated areas. BearCom technicians are certified to use iBwave software and analyzer equipment to monitor signal strength and prepare actionable plans to boost coverage.
Integration
As Motorola Solutions largest two-way radio distributor and integrator, BearCom ensures that wireless equipment integrates within your operations and communicates efficiently. We are experts at wireless interoperability, extending signal range, enhancing system capabilities, managing analog-to-digital migration, meeting P25 standards for Public Safety and more.
Program Management
BearCom can fully or partially manage your wireless communications at a fixed cost. By partnering with BearCom, you’re adding proven expertise from the industry leader so you can be confident you’ll achieve the highest value from your system investment and the longest service life from your equipment.
FCC Licensing
BearCom has a dedicated staff working with the FCC to help ensure that channel frequencies assigned to your organization are not in conflict with others in your area. Our team processes more than 1000 new FCC licenses annually, as well as hundreds of renewals, construction notifications and license modifications.
Repairs and Field Services
Our Dallas service depot is the largest independently-operated radio repair facility in North America. BearCom has extensive factory and industry training and can repair two-way radio equipment from most major radio manufacturers, including Motorola Solutions, Icom America, Kenwood, and Vertex Standard. Typically, we turn repair jobs in 72 hours or less.
Installation and Deployment
To take the burden off your team and speed a successful launch, our technicians can handle every aspect of installation and deployment. When the job is complete, we’ll confirm that every component provides all the coverage, capacity and functionality possible to increase communication efficiency and optimize system performance.
Service Level Agreements
Service Level Agreements (SLAs) reduce equipment downtime and the unexpected repair expenses associated with communication system outages. If your two-way radio network is integral to your organization’s operations, it makes sense to put a fixed price plan in place to keep this important system up-and-running when it’s needed most.
Preventative Maintenance
Keeping radio systems functioning at peak performance requires regular maintenance to reduce uncertainty and guesswork. BearCom’s preventive maintenance plans keep equipment in top condition, extend service life, confirm that fleet devices operate within manufacturer specs and ensure equipment is fully compliant with FCC regulations.
Compact and rugged. Analog simplicity and reliability.
