About a 2 Way Radio Headset from BearCom

A typical 2 way radio headset uses earpieces (which could be a single or dual earpiece, depending on the model) plus a microphone and are used for improving verbal communications (listening and talking) in a variety of industrial, commercial and business settings.

Additional Information about a 2 Way Radio Headset

A 2 way radio headset can be used for numerous applications, such as relaying instructions to a construction crew, conversing with the control tower at the airport, or managing that sporting event you just came from. Headsets also afford you the freedom to multitask. And using a 2 way radio headset in your vehicle makes talking while you drive on the highway much safer.

More Data about a 2 Way Radio Headset

The 2 way radio headset was first developed at Stanford University in 1910 by a student named Nathaniel Baldwin. As an inventor, Baldwin was really ahead of his time and could not find any company that was interested in producing his invention. As a result, his device went on the backburner for a few years, but on the eve of World War I, the U.S. Navy ordered 100 headsets.
