History

BearCom has a rich history as the leading provider of high-quality wireless communications products and solutions.

How It All Got Started
The company was formed with the merger of Bear Communications of California and PageCom of Texas in December 1995. This brought together the field office distribution of Bear Communications and the catalog distribution of PageCom. Over the next three years, BearCom acquired more than a dozen independent wireless equipment dealers along with a substantial portion of Motorola Products Group's rental business.

Where We Are Today
Today, BearCom is America's only nationwide dealer of wireless communications equipment, serves customers from 26 branch offices located throughout the U.S., has several affiliated offices around the world, and employs approximately 400 people. The company provides a broad line of high-performance wireless communications products, services, and complete mobility solutions to a wide range of customers in a variety of industries. BearCom is headquartered in the Dallas, Texas area.
